Sir Sean Connery, satisfied at last

SeanConnery.jpgBest Bond, Sir Sean Connery, has settled his long time dispute with Sherwood Country Club. He joined the uber-fashionable country club in 1990 for $35,000 with the understanding that the club could use his all too famous persona to promote their luxurious course properties. And when I say luxurious... I'm talking homes that would blow any golfers skirt up! Bring your fat wallet for a crib in this neighborhood!

Connery's agreement would supposedly return a whopping 80% of his fees after three years. The actual reimbursment must have fallen well short of Mr. Connery's expectations. And while his out-of-court settlement figure remains undisclosed, Sir Sean was ready to roll out a couple of his entertainment heavyweights cronies, Joe Peschi and Craig T. Nelson to testify on his behalf.

Connery left the club in 2004, sued in May 06 and settled in November 07. Time to celebrate... "just a drink - a martini, shaken, not stirred."
