Golf in hi-definition

Tiger_in_HD.jpgYou can't escape it. The crispy new visual entertainment generated by today's hi-def TVs is, without question, vastly superior to the dinosaur TVs of yesterday. That casual stroll past the audio visual department with fifty flat panels simultaneously tuned to the blue whale breach always grabs my attention. So much so that a few months ago I did a little HD homework and installed a phat new system for my family's viewing pleasure.

On rare occasions, I muster the courage to tear the kids away from SpongeBob and grab hour or two of hi-def weekend golf. This is the true nirvana of TV golf coverage. My Samsung 52" brings me close to the tiny beads of sweat dripping from Tiger's brow. It's as if your standing right there in the fairway next to him... with the added advantage of instant replays and color commentary!

Be advised that once you jump into hi-def, normal programming just won't satisfy. There are a few days left before Christmas. Perhaps you owe yourself a little out-of-season golf TV treat. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Can I come over and watch with you?
Of course AG. We should be able to catch a little tournament action after the third rerun of High School Musical II!

My wish list just got a little longer! BTW, I've added your blog to my new list of nearly 200 golf blogs.
