Dennis Miller's golf spin

dennismiller.jpgFunny man, Dennis Miller spins a few comments for Golf.com. Admittedly not much of a golfer, DM says the game is for raconteurs and not ranters like him. Without denying his own love of the game, he admits it always manages to bring him back. I'm particularly impressed with his understanding of not turning on yourself when your game goes south! "Golf is a good test of your self-loathing factor — it makes you master any self-reproach you have if you want to get good." He really gets it!

If there's anything that will bring out your self-loathing factor, it's golf. But the self-loathing does absolutely no good. It's interesting how when you watch the Tour pros being interviewed (Tiger, Phil, etc.) they always stay positive even when they played sucky. A good lesson for us all.
