Short game secret

Howtobreak80.jpgI just finished my first pass through Jack Moorehouse's ebook "How to break 80" and I'm totally reved to get out to the course to retune my pitiful short game. I find it ironic that the real secret to the short game is that there is no secret! Once I ravaged through the section on 40 yards and in, I felt a new sense of confidence emerging, which is another important lesson that this book covers. I've read and heard most of these lessons before but I now have my very own step by step reference which is already littered with lots of sticky post-its so I can review and re-read as often as necessary.

And about that confidence thing... I firmly believe that the great game is best played and most enjoyed when your general happiness and confidence is high. I fully intend to improve my handicap with the lessons and drills in Jack's easy-to-read book. And that thought alone will help to push me toward my goal! I would recommend it for anyone who needs a friendly, well-written guide to an improved game.

dear noisemaker,

I'm a 11 handicap and 63 years old and in pretty good shape. My drives are pretty consistant at 250. However, I do my scoring with my short ganme which is at a strong 75% consistant using the pro v, I can make the ball dance and control my 100 yard shots and don't get spooked at the dreaded 60 degree wedge. I do practice several times a week and enjoy seeing the ball do its magic when struck correctly.
