Johnny Miller's reputation as the toughest on-air commentator should move into overdrive this weekend. His caustic style has not endeared him with many of the big name touring pros as he tells it as he sees it. Because of his lethal local knowledge he probably won't be winning any new friends this week either. In fact I'm hoping he steps it up to his "know it all" style early on.

With his masterfully intense closing round of 63 to win the '73 Open at Oakmont he must feel as he literally owns the course. He'll be tossing mega-verbal boulders around by Sunday as this Oakmont monster-couse vomits on the finest golf athletes on the planet. Why would he act that way, you ask? Because he can!
