Golf monster, Alice Cooper

In 1973, Alice Cooper was in the full on rock-star mode. It was in the midst of his hard drinking, hard partying and hard rocking days, at the tender age of 25 that he picked up his first golf club. It changed his life forever. In his new book, A Rock 'n' Roller's 12 Steps to Becoming a Golf Addict, he shares his many stories about how a long hair rocker shook the conservative golfers cages on route to becoming one of the most skilled celebrity players.
I'm particularly interested in how he managed to substitute an obsession for the great game with his abusive alcoholic intake. That success story seems like a good read all by itself.
