The Masters frenzy

TigerWoods.Masters08.jpgJust watched Tiger par the 18th from the junk for the second time. The guy is fearless when it comes to recovery strategies. He's definitely on the hunt and the competition has a tendency to crash and burn when he turns up the pressure! I've been following Armchair Golfer's on-the-course Masters coverage for the past several days. His view from the inside is both informative and entertaining.

is all about the best of the best and is never too far afield when the best is required. Will he win? Only the foolhardy would bet against him. Some would say it's his to lose. There's a nifty masters chat room over at the official Masters Tournament site. Just click on the "Chat Now" and jump into one of the many ongoing live discussions. I chatted with a few fellas about whether Tiger would win or not. Loads of good chatter. Don't miss it.

Noise: Thanks for the mention, but I've been back from Augusta since Monday night. I was just there for one practice day. It was awesome. (Glad it looks like I'm Johnny On The Spot, though.) I did bring back some photos and stories. Now I'm following it on TV and the Internet, just like you. Who do you like tomorrow?
Sorry about the miscue Armchair... I thought you had gone whole hog for the full tournament. No matter. I'm still looking forward to your Masters commentary.

As for the winner. I would love to see Trevor or Brandt rise to the occasion. I'm even enjoying Steve Flesch's recent charge! But the ever-present Tiger is within striking distance. And his mere presence has done-in many mere mortal combatants.

You got your wish. Immelman hung tough.
It was a great finish.
Tiger is by far the best and playing in the Masters he is alway a force. More of the Uk golfer could learn a lot from him, Poulter for example is all trousers and no score.
