I used to be a 10-15 handicap player and I used top flight xl3000's. I switched to prov1's and went to 6-10 handicap. Great distance off the tee with a controllable second shot, gets great bite on the greens. I switch to the x's when its wet on the ground cause x's are more for ball flight and the regulars are about the roll. x's are a little easier to controll off the tee with the same bite off the green. both are great  Justin: Bartlett TN

Hands Down.... The Best Ball. I played PRO V1's for about 7 years and I was given a sleeve of these balls by the Head Pro at the course I play at. I hit this ball so much better than any other ball. Thought these be softer than they are, they do spin great off of full shots but the spin with chips close to green lacking, hopefullyl the tour i will be softer and be able to put more spin on them at close range. The only real postive is the distance goes a mile, but if your short sided and need to start and stop it quick this is not for you, but dont get me wrong these will back up a mile off of full shots!  Andrew: La Vergne, TN

I started using these balls early this year. I was extremely surprised with the extra yardage I got over the ProV1. The ball comes off the driver with low spin and a lot of speed. Nice crisp feel and sound off all clubs, but it is far from rock like. It is one of the longest tour quality balls available.
