I used to be a 10-15 handicap player and I used top flight xl3000's. I switched to prov1's and went to 6-10 handicap. Great distance off the tee with a controllable second shot, gets great bite on the greens. I switch to the x's when its wet on the ground cause x's are more for ball flight and the regulars are about the roll. x's are a little easier to controll off the tee with the same bite off the green. both are great Justin: Bartlett TN

Hands Down.... The Best Ball. I played PRO V1's for about 7 years and I was given a sleeve of these balls by the Head Pro at the course I play at. I hit this ball so much better than any other ball. It was better around the greens and had just the right spin to sit right where you want it to on the green. Love it .... Tony: Fort Washington, MD
Callaway Tour ix
The new CallawayTour ix golf ball is the most technologically advanced and longest tour ball you’ve ever played. The breakthrough in distance comes from an innovative 4-piece inertia technology. A tungsten-infused outer core shifts weight away from the center of the ball, reducing driver spin for maximum distance and straighter shots. The soft core formulation provides tour-level feel and the urethane cover generates excellent short-game spin. A refined HEX Aerodynamics pattern further increases distance through reduced drag and better stability. 4 pieces, 2 cores, 1 unbeatable ball. Bring cutting edge technology to your game with a dozen Callaway Tour ix golf balls.
Thought these be softer than they are, they do spin great off of full shots but the spin with chips close to green lacking, hopefullyl the tour i will be softer and be able to put more spin on them at close range. The only real postive is the distance goes a mile, but if your short sided and need to start and stop it quick this is not for you, but dont get me wrong these will back up a mile off of full shots! Bridgestone B330
The B330 and B330.S
are designed for serious players seeking superior consistency and reliable performance with exceptional distance and enhanced green side control. The Tour B330-S is a three-piece urethane ball, featuring a 330-dimple pattern for reduced drag during elevation, and a prolonged lift after peak trajectory, causing a shallower angle of descent. The seamless cover technology offers a superior alternative with complete dimple coverage compared to conventional balls that have a seam that may cause unexpected differences in ball flight. Get serious about better distance with these B330s
I started using these balls early this year. I was extremely surprised with the extra yardage I got over the ProV1. The ball comes off the driver with low spin and a lot of speed. I have an extremely high trajectory and was happy with the reduced number of balloonings I got using this ball. Jimmy: Pottstown, PA
Srixon Z-URC
The Srixon Z-URC employs a 330 dimple design shear resistant cover. The gradient core provides exceptional ball velocity combined with high launch angle and low spin launch conditions for greater carry and distance. This Srixon provides the excellent combination of shot shaping spin control, pinpoint distance and short game control. Jim Furyk is a Srixon man who went from 7th to 2nd in the Official World Rankings while winning twice and amassing an incredible 11 Top 4 finishes, all with the Z-URC. Move to the top of your game with some Z-URCs
This is one of the very best tour quality balls. Higher ball flight than most. This and high spin rate make it suitable into firm and fast greens. Nice crisp feel and sound off all clubs, but it is far from rock like. It is one of the longest tour quality balls available. Do your game a favour and try these if you are a basically good ball striker. You will be impressed! Roger: Denville, NJ
